The exhibition features works by New York-based artist Martin Beck and is titled “Panel 2: Nothing Better Than a Touch of Ecology and Catastrophe to Unite the Social Classes.” The title quotes a line from Baudrillard, spoken at the 1970 International Design Conference in Aspen. Beck has borrowed this line to explore the material to be found in the idea of the exhibition space itself; most of his work is based on this meta approach. In this exhibition he explores the relationship between design and industrial production.
