Adam Cvijanovic and David Humphrey have assembled a biography of Walt Disney in the form of an exhibition. Disney’s life will be illustrated by significant moments, selected according to the organizers’ warped but studious perspectives. Guest artists will be asked to contribute according to this plot.
Like Disneyland, Defrosted will present a spacialized narrative that retells a story embedded in the popular imagination by means of depicted events: a geography of Walt’s life. An equivalent of a Cvijanovic and Humphrey concept album with invited guests, the exhibition will be comprised of paintings on canvas and the wall, drawings, sculpture, video, and installation.
